Home Licensing Licensing Course Post Licensing On-Line CE Electives

The NorthCarolina Real EstateCommission will issue only Broker Licenses.  This is a two tiered process.  An applicant must successfully complete a 75 hour pre-licensing course, make full application to the commission, and then pass a state exam.

The new licensee will be issued a "Provisional Broker" license. To remove the "provisional" status the licensee must complete 90 hours of post licensing education, consisting of 3 thirty-hour courses.

New Licensees must complete at least one thirty hour course per year.  The courses may be taken in any order and may be taken all in one year.

After successfully completing the 3 courses, The North Carolina Real Estate Commission will terminate the "provisional" license status and issue a full broker license.
